MARBLE HILL -- Sue Mae Delfel, 77, of Marble Hill, died Thursday, June 30, 1994, at Bond Nursing Care Center.

She was born Nov. 15, 1917, in Salina, Kan., daughter of Sam and Nellie Waller Farley. She and Steve Delfel were married Aug. 5, 1947. He preceded her in death.

Delfel was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary to Post 407 and VFW Auxiliary to Post 877 in St. Louis. She was state president of the legion auxiliary in 1975 and 1976.

She is survived by a sister, Vivian Thomas of Marble Hill.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may also call at John Stygar Funeral Home in St. Louis after 6 p.m. Monday.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis.
