SIKESTON -- Ruby Lucille Andres, 81, of Sikeston, died Friday, July 1, 1994, at Marinasa Health Care Center in Springfield. She was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Sikeston, daughter of John Isaac and Dorothulie Newman Carter. She and Jesse Andres were married Aug. 7, 1927. He died March 7, 1962...

SIKESTON -- Ruby Lucille Andres, 81, of Sikeston, died Friday, July 1, 1994, at Marinasa Health Care Center in Springfield.

She was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Sikeston, daughter of John Isaac and Dorothulie Newman Carter. She and Jesse Andres were married Aug. 7, 1927. He died March 7, 1962.

Andres was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Freda Jackson of Springfield, Beverly Beck of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, two half brothers and four half sisters.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church, with the Rev. Ed Pangburn officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
