GLEN ALLEN -- Charley L. Skaggs, 75, of Glen Allen, died Friday, July 1, 1994, at his home.

He was born May 21, 1919, at Hiram, son of Aden and Delia Darnel Skaggs. He and Ethel Tooman were married Dec. 14, 1946. She died Dec. 27, 1979.

Skaggs was a retired timber worker, and member of McGee Chapel.

Survivors include four sons, Wilbur and Richard Skaggs of Glen Allen, Tib and Joseph Skaggs of Marble Hill; three daughters, Iva Shipley and Wilma Skaggs of Glen Allen, Donna Yanes of Marble Hill; 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Myers officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery.
