SIKESTON -- Graveside service for David T. Hickman of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Essex Cemetery. The Rev. Manny Alvarado will officiate.

Friends may call at 1 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.

Hickman, 40, died Thursday, June 30, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 23, 1953, in Philadelphia, Miss., son of John and Margaret Lewis Hickman. He and Mary Poyner were married in 1989.

Hickman was employed by DeKalb Seed Co.

Survivors include his wife; his father of Canalou; a stepson, Tony Poyner of Sikeston; a daughter, Dava Poyner of Sikeston; four brothers, Roy Hickman of Sikeston, Bill and James Hickman of Philadelphia, Miss., Frank Hickman of Canalou; two sisters, Jo Ann Holder of Sikeston and Joyce Collins of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
