BERTRAND -- Martha Irene Richardson, 85, of Cleveland, Tenn., died Sunday, July 3, 1994, at her home.
She was born Feb. 28, 1909, in Wheatley, Ark., daughter of John and Molly Lite Cain. She and James L. "Jim" Richardson were married Nov. 2, 1925. He died Dec. 26, 1962.
Richardson moved to Cleveland three years ago from Bertrand, where she was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include two sons, John Richardson of Van Buren, Dwight Richardson of Cleveland; four daughters, Mary Winckel of Rigby, Idaho, Ruth Estes of Charleston, Billie Hiles of Ellsinore, Shirley Cline of Florissant; a brother, Alfred Cain of Caruthersville; a sister, Delia Edwards of Sikeston; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a grandson.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 7 p.m. today, and after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Church of God of Prophecy in Bertrand.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with a daughter-in-law, the Rev. Londa Richardson, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
