CHARLESTON -- Rhoda Catherine Pike, 91, of Charleston, died Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Dec. 23, 1902, in Kentucky, daughter of Elijah R. and Mary Josephine Hodge Merrick. She and Noel Pike were married in April 1952. He died Aug. 27, 1973...

CHARLESTON -- Rhoda Catherine Pike, 91, of Charleston, died Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Dec. 23, 1902, in Kentucky, daughter of Elijah R. and Mary Josephine Hodge Merrick. She and Noel Pike were married in April 1952. He died Aug. 27, 1973.

Pike retired in 1952 as a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Pike, Charleston Route 2, John Pike of Kingsland, Texas, and a stepdaughter, Hazel Lochridge of Charleston.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Henry's Church, with the Rev. Robert Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
