SIKESTON -- Martha Lou McDowell, 64, of Sikeston, died Monday, July 4, 1994, in the emergency room at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born June 12, 1930, in Conway, Ark., daughter of Wesley H. and Iva Lou Fulmer Kelley. She and Coy McDowell were married May 17, 1947, in Lonoke, Ark.

McDowell was an antique dealer, member of Greater Works Church in Sikeston and former leader of its Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Davey and Barry McDowell of Sikeston; two daughters, Carolyn Sisco of Sikeston, Melodie Burnett of Benton; four brothers, Herbert and Argus Kelley of Little Rock, Ark., John Kelley of Batesville, Ark., Franklin Kelley of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Jenny Doan and Mary Ray of Little Rock; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Warren officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
