EAST PRAIRIE -- Goldia Durbin, 94, of East Prairie, died Thursday, July 7, 1994, at East Prairie Nursing Center. She was born Sept. 12, 1899, in Marble Hill, daughter of Bea and Erma Petty Yount. She and Wallace Durbin were married in 1920 at Charleston. He died Nov. 14, 1973...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Goldia Durbin, 94, of East Prairie, died Thursday, July 7, 1994, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 12, 1899, in Marble Hill, daughter of Bea and Erma Petty Yount. She and Wallace Durbin were married in 1920 at Charleston. He died Nov. 14, 1973.

Durbin was a member of Nelson United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Sanders of Atlanta, Ga., Deanie Woodard of Arlington, Texas; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home here after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
