McCLURE, Ill. -- Minnie Marie Mainer, 93, of McClure, died Thursday, July 7, 1994, at City Care Center in Anna.

She was born March 5, 1901, in Union County, daughter of James and Mary Ellen Wallace Caviness. She and Lloyd H. Mainer were married in August 1924 in Jonesboro. He died in 1983.

Mainer was a member of McClure Pentecostal Church and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Everett Mainer of McClure; four daughters, Natalie Boyd of Anna, Maudie Kaufman of Pekin, Erma Foster and Verna Mainer of Bedford, Ind.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and four stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two daughters, seven brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Greg Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery.
