JACKSON -- Ina Agnes Hitt, 88, of Jackson, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born July 20, 1905, in Advance, daughter of James and Jennie Beck Rainey. She and Harry C. Hitt were married April 28, 1927. He died Dec. 2, 1971...

JACKSON -- Ina Agnes Hitt, 88, of Jackson, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 20, 1905, in Advance, daughter of James and Jennie Beck Rainey. She and Harry C. Hitt were married April 28, 1927. He died Dec. 2, 1971.

Hitt was a self-employed beautician here many years, and a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Myrtle Hitt of Advance, Hazel Hitt of Bloomfield, and a niece, Willa Dean Propst of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Otto Steinhaus officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
