MOUND CITY -- Funeral services for Golda A. Edwards, 86, of Danville, Ill. and formerly of Pulaski, Mound City, and Wickliffe, Ky., will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City. Rev. Jesse Bellamy will officiate and burial will be at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Edwards died Thursday, July 14, 1994 at the United Samaritan Medical Center in Danville.

She was born March 15, 1908 in Pulaski, the daughter of Ves and Alice Williams Lance. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willis, and one son, Don Edwards.

Survivors include: one daughter, Wilma Richardson of Danville; three sisters, Zelma Ozment of Mounds, Jewel Waite Graves of Cairo, and Helen Hooker of Dupo; one brother, Alvin Lance of Pulaski; 12 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
