Martha Abigail Haas, 83, of Cape Charles, Va., died Friday, July 15, 1994, at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox, Va. She was born Aug. 10, 1910 in St. Louis, the daughter of John C. and Martha Stewart Ecoff. In March of 1929, she married Raymond Hartmann in St. Louis. He died on July 12, 1953...

Martha Abigail Haas, 83, of Cape Charles, Va., died Friday, July 15, 1994, at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox, Va.

She was born Aug. 10, 1910 in St. Louis, the daughter of John C. and Martha Stewart Ecoff.

In March of 1929, she married Raymond Hartmann in St. Louis. He died on July 12, 1953.

In October of 1954, she married E.L. Haas in Oxnard, Calif. He died on Jan. 27, 1981.

Surviving are one daughter, Carolyn Fedrick of Cape Charles; a stepson-in-law, Joe Quatmann of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Richard Lause officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at 7 tonight at the funeral home.
