OAK RIDGE -- Paul Edward Richter, 53, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, July 19, 1994, at his home. He was born Jan. 22, 1941, at Oak Ridge, son of Paul E. and Clara Bingenheimer Richter Sr. He and Roma Darnell were married July 11, 1986. Richter was a farmer. OAK RIDGE -- Paul Edward Richter, 53, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, July 19, 1994, at his home.

He was born Jan. 22, 1941, at Oak Ridge, son of Paul E. and Clara Bingenheimer Richter Sr. He and Roma Darnell were married July 11, 1986.

Richter was a farmer. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Oak Ridge School Board, Oak Ridge Fire Department Board, National Guard, and American Legion Post 133 in Perryville.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lance Richter of Great Falls, Mont.; two stepdaughters, Lori Petot of Oak Ridge, Krista Jerrell of Buncombe, Ill.; two sisters, Olga Vogel of Perryville, Ellein Haertling of Frohna, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-7:30 a.m. Thursday. An American Legion service will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
