WYATT -- Funeral service for Ross Pullen of Wyatt will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Tom Bridges will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Ross, 68, died Monday, July 25, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 10, 1925, in Mississippi County, son of Alfred Edwin and Arto Oakley Pullen. He and Sarah Brumley were married July 20, 1947.

Pullen was a self-employed truck driver. He attended Wyatt Baptist Church and Full Gospel Church in East Prairie. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, Steven and Randy Pullen of Dallas, Ga., Darrell Pullen of Bertrand, Marty Pullen of East Prairie, Mitchell and Alex Pullen of Wyatt; three daughters, Lydia Pullen of East Prairie, Olivia Smith and Angela Pullen of Wyatt; three brothers, Oak Pullen of Baltimore, Md., John Pullen of Bloomington, Mich., Sonny Pullen of Sikeston; two sisters, Lizzie Carr of Baltimore, Leona Coleman of Union City, Tenn., and 17 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and three sisters.
