MONTIE SADLER

SIKESTON -- Montie Sadler, 87, of Sikeston, died Thursday, July 28, 1994, at her home.

She was born Oct. 16, 1906, in Bay Village, Ark., daughter of George W. and Martha Pruitt Hydrick. She and Philip Sadler were married Aug. 10, 1928. He died July 2, 1965.

Sadler had worked at Moores Hardware, retiring in 1975. She was a member of First Baptist Church, taught Sunday School, and was active in its WMU and mission groups.

Survivors include four sons, Philip Sadler of Warrenburg, Graham Sadler of Richmond, Va., Milton Sadler of Sikeston, Paul Sadler of Bloomfield; a sister, Dessie Hydrick of Sikeston; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
