ADVANCE -- RC Andrews, 69, of Advance died Friday, July 29, 1994 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 15, 1925 at Tiptonville, Tenn., the son of Maud and Bell Barbara Andrews.

He was a retired auto mechanic and a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy. He was a member of the Advance VFW post.

On Dec. 1, 1968, he married Betty Rogers Metcalf at Sikeston. She survives.

He is also survived by four sons, Eugene Andrews, West Chicago, Ill., James Andrews, Advance, Allen Andrews, North Aurora, Ill., Roy Metcalf, Zalma; four daughters, Dixie Andrews, Cape Girardeau; Lillian Andrews, Florida, Marie Jones, Advance, Teresa George, Whittenburg; two sisters, Macy Dunn, Advance, Gertrude Hamilton, Magnolia, Miss.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Page officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance with military rites.
