CHAFFEE -- Alma Menz, 87, of Chaffee, died Friday, July 29, 1994, at the Advance Nursing Center in Advance.

She was born Dec. 3, 1906, in Bollinger County, daughter of Robert and Mary Etta Stevens Hahn.

She married Marvin Ancell Sr. He died Feb. 12, 1941. She then married Otto J. Menz, July 3, 1948. He died April 12, 1952.

Menz retired from Buckstein's Pants Factory in Chaffee.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Ancell of Blytheville, Ark.; two brothers, Dennis Hahn of Cape Girardeau, Victor Hahn of Marble Hill; a sister, Edna Ramey of Bridgeton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating.

Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery near Marble Hill.
