WALTER L. CLARK

MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Walter Leonard Clark, 79, of Elco, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1994, at his home.

He was born Sept. 11, 1914, in Chicago, son of Walter L. and Lucille Phillips Clark.

Clark attended Elco Methodist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by a sister, Lucille Clark of West Frankfort.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at National Cemetery in Mound City, with the Rev. Tom Bailey officiating.

Jones Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
