PHILOMENA C. BAER

PERRYVILLE -- Philomena C. Baer, 78, Perryville Route 2, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1994, at her home.

She was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Carl J. and Anna Lappe Wibbenmeyer. She and Bernard "Barney" Baer Sr. were married May 10, 1941, at Apple Creek.

Baer was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mary Laurentius, Stella Ernst, Joyce Triller and Jane Pohlman, all of Perryville; five sons, Chalmer, Orville, Barney Jr. and Allen Baer, all of Perryville, Robert Baer of Arnold; a sister, Rose Wibbenmeyer of Perryville; a brother, Otto Wibbenmeyer of Apple Creek, and 24 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. A wake service will be held tonight at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. John Bolderson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
