Funeral service for Paul F. Kitchen, 69, of 517 S. Sprigg will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. John Gourley and the Rev. Funeral service for Paul F. Kitchen, 69, of 517 S. Sprigg will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. John Gourley and the Rev. Jack Cathcart will officiate.

He died Saturday, Sept. 24, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born March 20, 1925, at Cairo, Ill., the son of William Paul and Pearl Kneibert Kitchen.

On July 25, 1946, he married Wilda Ford, who survives of the home. He worked for Central Packing Co. as a truck driver before his retirement in 1981. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army in the Philippines and in Australia. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau.

Other survivors include two sons, Paul A. and Terry Kitchen, both of Cape Girardeau; five brothers, Howard Kitchen of Cape Girardeau, Gene Kitchen of Chicago, and Bill, Douglas and Larry Kitchen, all of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Jo Ann Blattel of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
