VIRGIL ANTHONY

BROWNWOOD -- Funeral service for Virgil "Shanks" Anthony of Brownwood will be held at 11 a.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Keith Price will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.

Anthony, 65, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1994, at his home.

He was born May 30, 1929, in Memphis, Tenn., son of Earl and Opal Witt Anthony. He and Mary Lou Musgraves were married May 25, 1968, in Advance. He was a retired farmer, and charter member of Eagles Aerie 4154 of Advance.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Larry Anthony of Sikeston, Ron Anthony of Cape Girardeau, Scott Anthony of Advance; two daughters, Kathy Crist of Circleville, Ohio, Martha Clark of Spokane, Wash.; his father of Poplar Bluff; 10 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
