Funeral service for Mable Garner of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. E.D. Francis will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to service time.

Garner, 97, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 1994, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Oct. 18, 1897, at Neelys Landing, daughter of John and Nola Ann Craft McClard. She married Glenn Garner, who died April 23, 1962.

Survivors include a brother, Andrew McClard of Jackson; three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and grandson.
