SIKESTON -- Harold Cox, 69, of Sikeston died Monday, Nov. 21, 1994, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born June 19, 1925, in Bennett, Colo., the son of Gayle M. and Vesta A. Gasser Cox. On Sept. 12, 1967, he married Virginia Lane Sharp, who survives of the home.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an engineer, and he attended Wesley United Methodist Church in Sikeston.

Other survivors include a son, Darrell Cox of Hawaiian Gardens, Calif.; a daughter, Charleen Ferrero of Denver; two stepdaughters, Virginia Edwards and Ann Sharp, both of Sikeston; four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Lionel Cox.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Jerry Reynolds and the Rev. Gaylon Butler will officiate, and burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
