EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Georgia Marion "Myrt" Walker, East Prairie Route 2, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Bell will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Walker, 56, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 1994, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born July 15, 1938, in Matthews, daughter of Lee Otis and Sarah Penrod Black. She and Bob Walker were married March 9, 1961.

Walker was a member of First Christian Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Sam Walker of Roswell, Ga., Craig Walker of Boston, Mass.; four sisters, Dorothy Archer of Pocahontas, Ark., Nevada Goers of Farmington, Elfreda Moore and Phyllis Lemons of East Prairie.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.
