SIKESTON -- Chester Seymour, 69, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 10, 1925, in Double Springs, Ala., son of Chester and Lecy Baldy Seymour Sr.

Seymour was a charter member of Matthews Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Opal Seymour of Hobbs, N.M., Billy Seymour of Hamlin, Texas; four sisters, Robbie Nicholas of McHenry, Ill., Othal Porter of Matthews, Faye Jones of Sikeston, and Kay Johnson of Morley.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cecil Adams officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery.
