ANNA, Ill. -- George E. Earnhart, 78, Anna Route 1, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, at his home.

He was born March 9, 1916, at Lick Creek, son of James and Cynthia Lenderman Earnhart. He and Annie Blonn Treece were married March 2, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Earnhart was a farmer. He was a member and trustee of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Barbara Jones of Anna, Sharon Lutz of St. Charles; a sister, Cecile Casper of Anna; three granddaughters, and two great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery near Lick Creek.
