WANDA ALLENE ODOM

SCOTT CITY -- Wanda Allene Odom, 74, of Scott City, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 1994 at the Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born Nov. 24, 1919 in Leora, Mo., daughter of Ernest Kinder and Clara Shoemate.

On Jan. 11, 1937, she married Martin Odom. He preceded her in death Feb. 26, 1969.

She was a retired housekeeper from the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by one brother, Elwood Kinder, Sikeston and one sister, Ruby Brant, Wappapello.

Five brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will follow in the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.

Friends may call Monday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
