ANNA, Ill. -- Dorothy Lela Williams, 73, of Anna, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 1994, at Union County Hospital. She was born Jan. 6, 1920, in West Vienna, daughter of Cornelius and Carrie Pruitt Braggs. She and Ernest Allen Williams were married May 12, 1940, in Jackson, Mo...

ANNA, Ill. -- Dorothy Lela Williams, 73, of Anna, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 1994, at Union County Hospital.

She was born Jan. 6, 1920, in West Vienna, daughter of Cornelius and Carrie Pruitt Braggs. She and Ernest Allen Williams were married May 12, 1940, in Jackson, Mo.

Williams was a member of First Baptist Church here.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Dorothy Harvell of Jonesboro, Ernestine Jackson of Memphis, Tenn.; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel in Jonesboro. The Rev. Al Slayter will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
