ADVANCE -- Lillian Ruth Glasener, 82, of Advance, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at Advance Nursing Center.
She was born Aug. 16, 1911, at Zalma, daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Abernathy Cato. She and Clarence Glasener were married Sept. 16, 1933, at Jackson. He died Nov. 1, 1989.
Glasener was a member of Abernathy Chapel Methodist Church at Arab, member and past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 509 at Zalma.
Survivors include a son, Gary Glasener of Kansas City; a brother, Elmo Cato of Puxico; a granddaughter, and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a sister and four brothers.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Virgil Bunch will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.
