TAMMS, Ill. -- Robert Louis "Bob" Cummins, 59, of Carrier Mills, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at his home, following a brief illness.

He was born Sept. 1, 1934, son of Louis Z. and Hiliary Brown Cummins.

Cummins taught 28 years in the business department at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg. He was a member of Carrier Mills School Board.

Survivors include his wife, the former Phyllis Fodar; two sons, John and Paul Cummins of Carrier Mills; two sisters, Mary Dillow of Tamms, Janie Biesterfield of Chester; two brothers, John Cummins of New Orleans, La., Jerry Cummins of Chester, and stepmother, Janie Cummins of Chester.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eldorado. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery at Boaz.

Friends may call at Thornton-Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills from 5-8 p.m. today.
