JACKSON -- Annie E. Yamnitz, 96, of Jackson, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 1994, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 26, 1897, at Patton, Mo., daughter of Benjamin and Alvina Kuhlman Johnson.

She married Joseph Yamnitz, Nov. 7, 1917. He died Nov. 20, 1991.

Yamnitz was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Patton Presbyterian Church. She and her husband moved to Jackson in 1970 from Patton.

Survivors include a son, Edwin Yamnitz of Jackson; a brother, Lloyd Johnson of Patton; four sisters, Ione Barks of Sedgewickville, Mo., Beulah Propst of Perryville; Ruby Barks and Zola Dolle, both of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, with the Rev. Stan Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Yount Community Cemetery at Yount, Mo.
