DOROTHY S. KLUEPPEL

BENTON - Dorothy S. Klueppel, 91, of Benton, Rt. 1, died Saturday, Jan. 15, at her home.

She was born Sept. 26, 1902, in Benton, to Theophil and Mary M. Glastetter Scherer.

On May 5, 1931, she married Frank V. Klueppel, Sr. He preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1992.

Survivors include three sons, Frank V. Kleuppel, Jr., of Cape Girardeau; Joseph R. Klueppel and Charles E. Klueppel, both of Benton. Eleven grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Klueppel was a life-long resident of the Benton area. She and her husband farmed in the Benton area.

She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church of Benton, and the Ladies Sodality of the church.

Friends may call after 3 p.m., today, at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. Parish prayers will be recited at 7 p.m, today.

Funeral services will be held Monday, at 10 a.m., at St. Denis Church in Benton, with the Rev. Art Basler officiating. Burial will be in the St. Denis Church Cemetery.
