Ricky L. Chamness, 35, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Jonesboro, Ill., died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, son of Richard and Vicki Dillow Chamness.

Chamness attended Murray State University, and had been a motel manager in St. Louis. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna, Ill.

Survivors include his father of Anna; his mother and stepfather, Vicki and Don Miles of Jonesboro; two sisters, Denise Steck of Windfield, Ill., Rhonda Chamness of Anna; paternal grandmother, Imogene Schuster of Anna; maternal grandparents, Lenita and Henry Rohlfing of Jonesboro, and a stepsister, Jennifer Miles of Cape Girardeau.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church in Anna. The Rev. Tom Miller will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7.
