Inez L. Gilliland, 87, 721 Morgan Oak, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 1994, at Fountainbleau Lodge. She was born May 18, 1906, in Lipscomb County, Texas, daughter of Cam C. and Julia E. Brown. She and Emmett Gilliland were married Dec. 25, 1921, in Gray, Okla. He died Aug. 31, 1976...

Inez L. Gilliland, 87, 721 Morgan Oak, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 1994, at Fountainbleau Lodge.

She was born May 18, 1906, in Lipscomb County, Texas, daughter of Cam C. and Julia E. Brown. She and Emmett Gilliland were married Dec. 25, 1921, in Gray, Okla. He died Aug. 31, 1976.

The Gillilands farmed at Whitewater, retiring in 1954 and moving to Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Franklin Greer of Gary, Ind.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Drew Dietz will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.
