SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Carl T. Vaughn of Midwest City, Okla., formerly of Scott City, was held Jan. 15 at Tinker Air Force Base Chapel. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Vaughn, 65, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 1994, at the Veterans Hospitalin Midwest City.

He was born Sept. 24, 1928, son of Oscar and Nola Burton Vaughn.

Vaughn was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta; two sons, Michael and Allen Vaughn of Midwest City; two sisters, Helen Schwepker of Cahokia, Ill., Shirley Eifert of Scott City, and two grandchildren.
