ANDREW GEORGE

DEXTER -- Funeral service for Andrew "Boots" George of Dexter will be held at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Chester Smith will officiate, with burial in Dexter Cemetery.

George, 81, died Monday, Feb. 14, 1994, at Dexter Nursing Center.

He was born Feb. 17, 1912, in Decatur, Ala., son of Leona nd Nettie Densmore George. He and Mabel Clay were married Oct. 19, 1939, at Parma.

George lived near here 25 years, lived in Ravenden Springs, Ark., 20 years, and moved back to the Dexter area five years ago.

He was employed by Corps of Engineers many years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Ravenden Springs.

Survivors include his wife, and a sister, Lillian Cook of Ravenden Springs.
