HOMER J. MITCHELL

PERRYVILLE -- Homer J. Mitchell, 86, of Perryville, died Monday, Feb. 21, 1994, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 26, 1907, at Flat River, son of Albert and Emma Eidson Mitchell. He and Mildred C. Kiefer were married July 27, 1946, in St. Louis.

Mitchell was a retired machinist with A.O. Smith Co. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Baleda Tucker of Pinellas Park, Fla., Donna Schoo of Blue Springs; a son, Ron Mitchell of Minturn, Colo.; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Friday. A wake will be held tonight at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
