MARY C. VRBOSKY

JACKSON -- Mary C. Vrbosky, 81, Jackson Route 2, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 30, 1912, near Jackson, daughter of August and Bertha Sternberg Bartels. She and George Vrbosky were married Sept. 30, 1945.

Vrbosky had lived on a farm southwest of Jackson since 1945. She was employed 42 years at the former International Shoe Co. here, retiring in 1978. She had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church since 1953.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Joe Vrbosky of Festus, Paul Vrbosky of Jackson; a daughter, Betty Phillips of Jackson; two sisters, Minnie and Emma Bartels, Jackson Route 2, and three granddaughters.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
