PERRYVILLE -- Rudy A. Welker, 89, of Perryville, died Tuesday, March 8, 1994, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 26, 1904, at Perryville, son of William J. and Josephine Lappe Welker.

He married Mary Bee Wilson, Nov. 7, 1930.

Welker was a farmer and raised livestock.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Perryville, the Masonic Lodge 221 in Oak Ridge, the Order of the Eastern Start Chapter 30 and was a volunteer firefighter.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard L. Welker of Millersville, Mo.; a daughter, Betty Baudendistel of Renault, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. Friday, and from 6:30-10 a.m. Saturday at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville, with the Rev. Ed. Hankinson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Home Cemetery.
