He was born Oct. 8, 1906 at Logan Creek, near Ellington, the son of Allen and Easter Goforth Randolph. In 1930, he married Iva M. Mathis. She preceded him in death May 17, 1974...

PERRYVILLE -- Cecil Golden Randolph, 87, of Perryville died Saturday, March 19, 1994 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 8, 1906 at Logan Creek, near Ellington, the son of Allen and Easter Goforth Randolph.

In 1930, he married Iva M. Mathis. She preceded him in death May 17, 1974.

He is survived by one son, Bill E. Randolph, Altenburg; one daughter, Imogene Reed, Houston, Mo.; four brothers, Clifford and Emory Randolph, both of Dove Creek, Colo., Preston Randolph, Grand Junction, Colo., Robert Randolph, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sisters, Delsie Crowley and Ethel Brickey, both of Grand Junction, Colo., Elsie Johnson, Desoto, Mo.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

One daughter and two brothers preceded him in death.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Perryville, Masonic Temple Lodge 670 AF & AM, a U.S Army World War II prisoner of war veteran and a former member of the American Legion Post 133.

Funeral service will be held at Young and Sons Chapel Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Jonathon Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Home Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A Masonic wake service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. and an American Legion wake will be held at 7:30 p.m.
