Carol J. Cook, 46, of Hillsboro, died Monday, March 28, 1994, at her home.

The former Miss Watson was born Jan. 20, 1948. She married Gary W. Cook.

She is a graduate of Chaffee High School, and received bachelor and master degrees from Southeast Missouri State University.

Cook was an elementary teacher at Hillsboro Schools. She previously taught at Scott City, Crystal City, Biloxi, Miss., and New Madrid. She was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church, MNEA, NEA, HNEA, and Beta Sigma Phi.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Allen Cook of the home; a daughter, Cheryl Cook, a student at Southeast University; her mother, Genevieve Watson of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, June Dunning of Gordonville, and Elaine Cobb of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.

Friends may call at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro from 4-8 p.m. today, and on Wednesday at Hillsboro United Methodist Church from noon to 2 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
