JONESBORO, Ill. -- Josephine Spurlock, 86, of Jonesboro, died Monday, March 28, 1994, at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born March 7, 1908, at Mt. Vernon, daughter of John and Sarah Wininger Uselton. She and Adam Spurlock were married March 15, 1941, at Jackson, Mo. He died in 1979...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Josephine Spurlock, 86, of Jonesboro, died Monday, March 28, 1994, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born March 7, 1908, at Mt. Vernon, daughter of John and Sarah Wininger Uselton. She and Adam Spurlock were married March 15, 1941, at Jackson, Mo. He died in 1979.

Spurlock was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include two sons, Frank Spurlock of Jonesboro. Fred Spurlock of Springfield; a daughter, Mae Barnes of Posey; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Norris and Son Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in Casper Cemetery.
