GERALDINE G. SCHLUE

PERRYVILLE -- Geraldine G. Schlue, 88, of Perryville, died Saturday, May 7, 1994, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born March 15, 1906, at Delta, daughter of Harry and Carmen E. Cottner Galeener. She and Joseph H. Schlue were married Jan. 6, 1931. He died Nov. 21, 1958.

Schlue was a retired salesperson, and member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Col. Joseph Schlue of Black Forest, Colo., John Schlue of Aurora, Colo.; two daughters, Carmen Blechle of Lakewood, Colo., Geraldine Hartel of Perryville; two brothers, Stephen Galeener of West Branch, Mich., Howard Galeener of Sterling, Mich.; a sister, Virginia Bagbey of Sterling Heights, Mich., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a grandson.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, and 6:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. The Revs. Kevin Fausz and Willis Darling will officiate.
