RHODA E. LINDSEY

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Rhoda Elizabeth Lindsey of Kansas City, formerly of East Prairie, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery near here.

Lindsey, 78, died Saturday, June 4, 1994, at North Kansas City Hospital.

She was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Helena, Ark., daughter of F.E. and Dellar Busby Mansfield. She and Shirley Edward Lindsey were married June 10, 1933. He died July 12, 1990.

Survivors include a son, Shirley Wayne Lindsey of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Ida Lake of Kansas City; eight granddaughters and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.
