Funeral service for Herbert H. Heise, 525 S. Pacific, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Jimmie Dace will officiate, with burial in Memmorial Park.

Heise, 84, died Thursday, June 9, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 27, 1909, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Gustav T. and Cora Graves Heise. He and Julia Charlotte Berry were married March 30, 1934, at Jackson. She died in 1967.

Heise was a retired salesclerk from Montgomery Ward. He was a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church, charter member of its Methodist Men, and former secretary/treasurer of the church. He was active in the Cape Bowling League.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Jordan of Cape Girardeau, and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
