LONNIE J. MODDE
PERRYVILLE -- Lonnie J. Modde, 86, of Perryville, died Friday, June 10, 1994 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1907 at Belgique, Mo., the son of Hubert and Mary Modde Modde. He married Leola Seems on Oct. 13, 1945. She preceded him in death June 30, 1957...PERRYVILLE -- Lonnie J. Modde, 86, of Perryville, died Friday, June 10, 1994 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 27, 1907 at Belgique, Mo., the son of Hubert and Mary Modde Modde.
He married Leola Seems on Oct. 13, 1945. She preceded him in death June 30, 1957.
He is survived by one son, Paul Modde, Perryville; one daughter, Jane McCarthy, Frederickton; two stepsons, Jerry and Charles Layton, both of Ste. Genevieve; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

One brother, two sisters and one grandson preceded him in death.
He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 1263 for over 60 years.
Friends may call today from 5-9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30-9:45 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A Catholic wake service is planned today at 7 p.m.
Funeral mass will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
