SIKESTON -- Christine Beeson, 54, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1993, at her home. She was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Selmer, Tenn., daughter of Hubert and Virlon Wyatt Cooksey. She and Tommy Beeson were married Feb. 18, 1960, at Sikeston. Beeson was a cook at Keller's Restaurant...

SIKESTON -- Christine Beeson, 54, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1993, at her home.

She was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Selmer, Tenn., daughter of Hubert and Virlon Wyatt Cooksey. She and Tommy Beeson were married Feb. 18, 1960, at Sikeston.

Beeson was a cook at Keller's Restaurant.

Survivors include four sons, Rusty Beeson of Farmington, Steven Beeson of Sikeston, Jeffery Beeson of Benton, Anthony Beeson of Jefferson City; a daughter, Catherine Herbert of Sikeston; two brothers, James and Hubert Cooksey of Matthews; three sisters, Luden Burns of Jackson, Charlene Burns and Doris Graham of Sikeston, and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Jack Burns will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. today.
