Elmer P. Lind, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 14, 1901. at Cape Girardeau, son of Phillip and Bertha Meystedt Lind.

He married Norma Vogel on Mar. 11, 1926, in Cape Girardeau. she preceded him in death on April 24, 1988.

The only survivor is a sister-in-law, Mrs. Allene Weahking, of Cape Girardeau.

Lind was a bookkeeper. He was associated with Hirsch Brothers Store on Good Hope St., and with Central Packing Co. He also served as office manager of the Consolidated Airport. He operated a radio repair shop out of his home.

Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Ford & Sons, Mt. Auburn Chapel, with chaplain Art Kelley conducting the service. Burial will be in the Mausoleum at Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday.
