Memorial service for Clara Sophia Haupt of Houma, La., will be held today at 2 at Grace Lutheran Church in Houma. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.

Haupt, 85, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1993.

She was born in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert and Sophia Hilpert Haupt.

Haupt was retired from Terrebonne Parish Library and member of Grace Church, both in Houma.

Survivors include a niece, Polly Scott of Houma.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert, Robert and Richard Haupt.
