MARBLE HILL -- George W. Brawley, 64, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 26, 1928, at Centerville, the son of the late Harold and Emma Hanger Brawley. On Feb. 19, 1956, he married Edna Myers, who survives of the home.

He was a retired supervisor at the Crown-Zellerbach Box Company in St. Louis and a member of Disabled American Veterans. He was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the U.S. Army.

Other survivors include two daughters, Georgia Harding of Clinton, Tenn., and Genia Freeman of O'Fallon; two sisters, Alma Gorman and Alta Brawley, both of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.

He also was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, where funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate, and burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
